§ 13-26. Violations of article.

  • (a)

    A violation of any provision of this article shall constitute a Class 4 misdemeanor.

    (b)

    A violation of the requirements of this article that a current county registration and license fee be paid may not be discharged by payment of fine except upon presentation of satisfactory evidence that the required registration and license fee has been paid.

    (c)

    As permitted by rule of the 25th Judicial Circuit, a person charged under this article may enter a written appearance, waiver of court hearing and plea of guilty upon presentation of a receipt from the treasurer for the issuance of a current county registration and license fee and payment of a fine in the amount of twenty dollars ($20.00) and a processing fee in the amount of twenty-four dollars ($24.00).
